In Matthew’s gospel, the Lord’s Prayer is part of Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. There are some differences in the two texts, and some slightly different wording used each week in worship. The prayer we have come to know as the Lord’s Prayer is found in two of the gospels, Matthew and Luke.
